Homemade Noodles
By: Cindy Wick (In Loving Memory of Goldie Iris Mckeeman)

  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Flour, about one cup

Beat egg with a fork, add milk and salt. Add enough sifted all-purpose flour to make a stiff dough. Roll very thin on a floured surface; let stand 20 mins. Roll up loosely; slice 1/4" wide, unroll, spread and let dry 2 hours. Store in a container until needed, freeze or drop into boiling salted water. Cook about 10 mins. Note: Mom made so many noodles over the years she never needed the recipe. I'm so glad she taught me how to make them.
