Fried Collards

  • 1 head of collards, shredded
  • 6 tbs frying grease (already used to fry meat or chicken)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Clean collards, pop off end of stem and shred (to shred, take about 5 collard leaves and roll together, using a knife, start at top of leave and cut to size desired.) heat oil in pot until hot, add collards. Stir often. Cook for a few minutes and add salt and pepper to taste. Cook until tender, approx. 20 mins.
