Grilled Salmon With Brown Sugar Mustard Glaze

  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 Tbl honey
  • 2 Tbl butter
  • 2 Tbl Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbl soy sauce
  • 1 Tbl olive oil
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger, chopped
  • pinch salt
  • 1# salmon fillet
     
 
Melt together brown sugar, honey and butter. Remove from heat and add mustard, soy sauce, olive oil, ginger and salt. Blend well. Place fillet, skin side down, on heavy duty foil. Cut foil to outline of fish, leaving crimped edge. Spread glaze over salmon, then place on grill. Heat on medium high, brushing often with any reserve glaze. Fillet is done when flakes easily with fork (8-12 minutes). Serves 2.
