Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Pour batter into greased pan and set aside. In a bowl, beat well ricotta, eggs, sugar and vanilla. Spoon mixture gently over unbaked cake batter. Bake 1 hour or until done (cake part will rise to top over ricotta mixture). Cool. Frost and refrigerate. Serves 12.
