Chinese Slaw Salad

  • 1 pkg. cole slaw mix
  • 3 T. butter
  • 2 T. sesame seeds
  • 1 pkg. chicken Ramen noodles, broken
  • 1 C. slivered almonds
  • 1/2 C. oil
  • 1/4 C. cider vinegar
  • 1/3 C. sugar
  • Seasoning packet from noodles
     
 
Place butter, sesame seeds, noodles and almonds on cookie sheet. Place in 250° oven just long enough to toast. Cool, then add to cole slaw mix. Combine oil, vinegar, sugar and seasoning packet. Do not refrigerate dressing! Add dressing to cole slaw mix just before serving. Salad will keep several days.
