Baked Ham And Cheese Crunch

  • 3 c. crushed corn flake cereal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 4 tsp. mayonnaise or mustard
  • 4 thin slices cooked ham
  • 4 slices american cheese
  • 3 T. melted butter
     
 
Heat oven to 425°. Spray rectangle cake pan with no stick spray. Sprinkle crushed corn flakes into bottom of a pie pan. In medium bowl beat eggs slightly; add milk and mix together. Spread mayonnaise or mustard on 4 slices of bread. Top each with 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of cheese and another slice of bread. Dip each sandwich into egg mixture, let extra drip back into bowl. Then press sandwich into crushed corn flakes and coat each side. Place sandwiches in prepared cake pan and pour a thin layer of melted butter over each sandwich. Bake at 425° for 10 to 15 minutes or until crisp and lightly browned.
