Candy Bars

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix (not with pudding)
  • 1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
  • 8 Tb. butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 c. chopped candy bars (i.e. Snickers, Butterfinger, etc.)
     
 
Preheat oven to 350°. Place aside an ungreased 13-in x 9-in baking pan. Combine cake mix, brown sugar, butter and eggs with electric mixer on low for 1 minute. Scrape sides of bowl. Blend for 1 more minute. Fold in candy bar pieces. Pour batter in pan, smoothing out with rubber spatula so that it reaches all sides. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Remove from oven and cool for 1 hour.
