Drain pears,reserving juice. Chop pears and set aside. Add water to juice to measure 3 cups. Place in saucepan and bring to boil. Transfer to a bowl. Add gelatin and stir until dissolved. Whisk in creamed cheese until smooth. Put in refrigerator until slightly thickened. Whisk in whipped topping. Add pears. Put into 13 x 9 x 2 dish. Cover and refrigerate until firm. Cut into squares. Garnish with the oranges, if desired. 12 - 16 servings
