Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies

- 2 sticks unsalted butter ( 1 cup)
- 3/4 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 t. salt
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 t. baking soda
- 1 t. vanilla 1/4 c. white sugar
- 1 egg
- 8 oz. white chocolate chips (Ghirardelli are best)
- 12 oz. large milk chocolate chips ( Ghirardelli are best)
- 2 c. chopped pecans
- pecan halves for top of cookies

| Cream butter and sugars. Add egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients at low speed. Put small spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Press a pecan half onto each cookie. Bake at 365 degrees for 13 - 14 minutes. Makes approximately 42 cookies. |
