Italian Love Cake

  • 1 pkg. Devil's food cake mix
  • 1 lb. Ricotta cheese
  • 1 lb. cream cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
     
 
Prepare cake mix according to pkg. directions and pour into greased/floured 9x13" glass cake pan; set aside. Blend together rest of ingredients and spoon on top of unbaked cake mix. Bake at 325 degrees for 50-55 minutes until the center is set. Refrigerate overnight. Make frosting now and refrigerate overnight. Frosting: 1 container Cool Whip (12-14 oz) & 1 lg. pkg. instand vanilla pudding. Mix Cool Whip and pudding thoroughly; refrigerate overnight; frost cake before serving.
