Apricot Jello Squares

  • 1 lg. apricot Jell-O
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2-1/2 c. water
  • 1 lg. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 can apricot halves
  • 1 can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1 ctn. Cool Whip
     
 
Combine Jello, sugar and water in saucepan and bring to a boil. Cut cream cheese into Jell-O mixture and beat with hand mixer. Add crushed pineapple and pour into a 9x13 inch pan. Place apricots on bottom of pan and refrigerate to set completely. When set, spread Cool Whip on top.
